Appalachian State University is a public university that’s home to approximately 18,800 undergraduate students. It is located in Boone, North Carolina, right in the Blue Ridge Mountains with beautiful scenery. The location allows students to do anything from skiing and tubing to rock climbing, rafting, and fishing.
