Bowdoin College is located in Brunswick, Maine and is a private liberal arts college. Their mascot is the Polar Bear and there are approximately 1,800 undergraduate students enrolled. The town of Brunswick is just a five-minute walk from campus with a selection of restaurants, boutiques, a cinema, and a farmers market that’s open from May through November every Tuesday and Friday nearby. Bowdoin was originally an exclusively male college up until 1971 when it became coeducational.

Fun fact about Bowdoin College: "Princeton Review ranks Bowdoin as having the second-best college food in the country! More historically, Joshua Chamberlain, a graduate and later president of the college, is said to have saved the Union in a Civil War battle."
