Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana is a private university with approximately 5,000 students enrolled overall. Lexa and Caroline are both recent graduates of Butler University. Lexa is from Grand Rapids, MI and Caroline is from Mattoon, IL. Where to Grab a Coffee or Tea: Starbucks. It’s the only coffee shop right on campus.
Burger Joint and Fries: Burger Fuel in Broad Ripple. It’s great for anyone with diet restrictions.
Finger licking good BBQ Spot: Squealers on 86th St.
Vegetarian Hot Spot: Canal Bistro is a Mediterranean restaurant with vegetarian options.
Pizzeria: Hotbox. Their breadsticks are a favorite of ours after a night downtown.
Diner and Favorite Dish: Metro Diner on campus. The biscuits and gravy or french toast and hashbrowns are our favorites.
Hottest Mexican Spot and Recommended Plate: La Piedad, the frozen margaritas.
Sushi and your go to roll: Naked Tchopsticks, the Rainbow roll.
Breakfast Spot with a friend or date: Definitely try Cafe Patachou on Pennsylvania. It’s 5 minutes from campus.
Where you would love your parents to take you for Parents weekend: The Meridian. It’s a fancy restaurant in a cute little house right down the road.

Where to go for Yoga, Exercise Classes, or the Gym: Butler has an onsite gym that is included in the tuition.
Night Spot for Music: Howl at the Moon. College Nights on Thursdays means $2 beer and Butler offers a shuttle back and forth (we love cheap!).
Best Dive Bar: Rock Lobster. They have a nice outdoor area and dance floor.
Neighborhood Bookstore: Indy Reads, located downtown.
Where is your favorite spot on campus to hang: When the weather is nice, we love taking walks by the canal in Holcomb Gardens or hanging around the mall (what we call the quad area). Trails are a big thing in Indy, so hitting up the Monon Trail is very popular.
Where do you want to go on spring break: We went to Siesta Key for Spring Break this past year and the white beaches were beautiful.
