Iowa State University
Iowa State University is a large public university with approximately 30,000 undergraduate students and almost 5,000 graduate students. It’s located in Ames, Iowa, the mascot is the Cyclones, and the school colors are cardinal red and gold. A fun fact is that there are multiple museums on campus full of history and beautiful artifacts.
Famous "Cyclone" alumni include George Washington Carver - inventor, Clayton Anderson - former NASA astronaut, Henry A. Wallace - former U.S. President, and Christine Romans - CNN anchor.
