Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)
Savannah College of Art and Design is a small private school in Savannah, Georgia. There are approximately 13,000 students at SCAD and over a quarter of them are international students! It’s a city campus in the heart of Savannah and over 65% of the student population is female. Their school colors are black and gold and the mascot is Art the Bee. They have a very competitive equestrian team.
Famous "Art the Bee" alumni include Bevin Prince - actress (One Tree Hill), Charlie Zink - former baseball player (Boston Red Sox), Tomas Kalnoky - musician, India.Arie - Grammy Award-winning singer, and Anis Mojgani - poet.
Jolie transferred to SCAD as a Sophomore. She is originally from Maine. One quirky fact about Jolie..."My favorite hobby (besides art) is hula hoop dancing!"
Fun fact about SCAD: Our school mascot is "Art" the Bee. Savannah's city grid is checkered with tons of beautiful historic parks and landmarks!
