Fun fact about The Hotchkiss School Our campus boundaries are the northern and western state lines of Connecticut (we are in the northwestern most corner of the state).
Favorite Bakery and Sweet: Sweet William's, chocolate cupcake.
Where to get a caffeine fix: Sweet William's coffee shop.

Where to go for yoga, exercise classes, or the gym: Space Yoga at the Mars Athletic Center.
Favorite Weekend Activity: Going to the lake to swim and hang out with friends.
What does the school provide for weekend activities and trips: Busses too Millerton (the next town over which has a lot of restaurants, stores, grocery stores, etc), trips to amusement parks, Saturday night dances, and yoga classes.
Favorite place to hang around campus: Down by the lake.

Where are most of your classmates from: I have classmates from almost everywhere. For example, just on my floor last year, there were students from the Bahamas, Australia, South Carolina, England, Kenya, California, Hong Kong, and Connecticut.
What activities do you participate in during the school year: Field Hockey and Lacrosse.
Who is your school rival and is there a rivalry tradition when playing them:
Taft is our biggest rival. We have "Taft Day" where all of our teams play Taft. We have an entire spirit week leading up to Taft Day with different theme days throughout the week.
What is your school Mascot: Bearcat.
Any recommendations for an incoming student:
Yes! 1) Don't be afraid to ask for help, 2) be open to meeting new people and embracing different opinions and opportunities, and 3) spend time getting to know your peers and teachers. They are a pretty amazing group of people who really care about you!
