University of Maryland
The University of Maryland is a large public university in College Park, Maryland with approximately 28,000 undergraduate students and 10,500 graduate students attending the university. Both Baltimore and D.C. are only about 30 minutes from the school so students have access to great restaurants, shops, and a social life while being able to get off campus. Maryland also has a strong school spirit surrounding their athletics. Forty NBA players are from the University of Maryland! Their school colors are red, gold, and black and the university mascot is the Terrapins, or the “Terps”.

Carly - There’s at least five pizza places within walking distance of each other near campus.
Ashley - We're only 30 mins from both DC and Baltimore.
Ryan - UMD is a part of the Big 10 league and located just outside of DC.

Carly - The Bagel Place.
Ryan - There are so many cafés that serve Starbucks coffee but my favorites are Footnotes Cafe in McKeldin Library, or the cafe in the Edward St. John Learning & Teaching Center.
Eric - Bagel Place.
Carly - Ledos, regular pizza - best crust so no frills necessary.
Ashley - Slices, you have to get the make-your-own Stromboli!
Ryan - The best late night slice is from Pizza Kingdom (they serve giant slices!!!!!) but if you're looking for a normal size slice, then Slices.

Carly - Shanghai Tokyo, spicy tuna.
Ryan - Hanami Japanese Restaurant. I always get their 3 roll special: tuna roll, California Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll.
